I recently posted about difficulties printing on TPEs and TPUs. Well, silicone can be another problem.
I’ve recently found a new pad printing ink for silicone that works extremely well. It is a two-component ink, but it prints with better transfer efficiency, opacity and clarity than any other silicone ink I’ve seen. After a pass through a dryer, it can immediately withstand a chemical wipe or over-printing. As a bonus, it comes in a variety of colors.
